In some cases, tumors can also be a mix of lobular and ductal carcinoma tissue. The symptoms of cancer and benign breast disease can be very similar, and often overlap. In many cases, breast cancer may not present any symptoms in the early stages. It is important to seek medical attention for any noticeable changes in the breast, or symptoms such as pain, nipple discharge, and changes to the color/texture of the skin around the breasts and nipples to obtain an accurate diagnosis.
